Instructions for Installing a Tow Hitch

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Accessory kit

Installing a tow hitch, although technically feasible, generally cannot be done as a DIY project because it requires testing and subsequent updates to the vehicle registration by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Therefore, it must be performed by a certified mechanic who will provide documentation regarding the installation, ensuring it meets standards and includes the hitch's compliance. However, the installation process is quite simple: it involves removing the bumper and the impact absorber beam and replacing the latter with a bar equipped with a tow hitch support; once this bar is secured, cut the portion of the bumper that interferes with the hitch and reattach it.

How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Chevrolet Matiz

How to replace the timing belt on a Chevrolet Matiz. Open the bonnet and secure it, lift the car on a column lift (if necessary, remove the front wheel using a screwdriver to take off the right wheel arch liner). Use a fixed spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolt of the tensioner pulley, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket spanner. Finally, refit the rivets along with the wheel arch liner and reattach the wheel with the tyre to the vehicle.
