This video shows how to install the trailer hitch on the BMW X3. This procedure is very simple and quick to perform. To install the trailer hitch on your BMW, go to the rear of the vehicle, following the center, which is roughly where the BMW logo is located. Below the bumper in the center, there is a cap to prevent dust from entering the trailer hitch housing. Simply locate and remove it. Once removed, insert the trailer hitch by pushing it upward. You can be assured that the trailer hitch has a lever that must be pulled to remove it, so there will be no issue with the hitch coming loose.
