Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Transmission

The repair described in the video refers to the replacement of the automatic transmission oil cooler: the oil temperature is very important to ensure proper operation of the automatic transmission actuators; regular maintenance with the replacement of the transmission oil and its filter or even flushing the system will definitely preserve the transmission itself; however, it may happen that the cooler gets damaged and needs to be replaced: after replacement, circulate the oil to avoid the formation of air bubbles in the system.
