In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gearbox oil in the BMW 5 Series, a simple operation that requires good manual skills. We lift the vehicle first, then, if it is 4WD, we disconnect the drive shaft. Then unscrew the two bolts indicated using an 8mm hex key and another 10mm, let all the oil contained in the gearbox escape and reinsert the bleed hole bolt. We continue by unscrewing all the fixing bolts of the crankcase, separate it from the gearbox and remove any residue of the old oil contained inside. Finally, let's introduce the necessary quantity of oil through the upper hole.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?
