How to Replace the Transmission Fluid in a BMW 5 Series?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the transmission fluid in a BMW 5 Series. This is a simple operation but requires good manual skills. First, lift the vehicle. If it is 4WD, disconnect the driveshaft. Next, remove the two indicated bolts using an 8mm hex wrench and a 10mm wrench. Drain all the fluid from the transmission and reinstall the drain plug. Continue by removing all the bolts securing the oil pan, separate it from the transmission, and clean out any residue of the old fluid inside. Finally, add the necessary amount of fluid through the upper hole.
