What to do if the adaptive automatic transmission of our BMW is not working optimally? The youtuber provides us with a solution, without the need for special equipment. The first thing to do is to insert the ignition key and turn on the ignition; we put our foot on the accelerator and push it all the way down, holding it down for about 45 seconds. During this period, we should hear a kind of static noise coming from the transmission, in which the transmission actually resets the driving map settings, and driver adaptations. After 45 seconds, we remove our foot from the pedal, put our foot on the brake, and start the engine and now the transmission has regained all the normal driving settings.
