What should you do if the adaptive automatic transmission in your BMW is not functioning optimally? The YouTuber provides a solution without needing special tools. First, insert the ignition key and turn on the ignition; press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it for about 45 seconds. During this time, you should hear a sort of static noise coming from the transmission, as it effectively resets the driving map settings and driver adaptations. After 45 seconds, release the accelerator pedal, press the brake pedal, and start the engine. Now the transmission has regained all normal driving settings.
