How to Replace the BMW Remote Key Battery

Model: BMW Serie 5 F11, F10 - Years 2010-2017

To replace the battery in the BMW remote key, start by releasing the key blade by pushing the button at the bottom and pulling the blade out. Once the blade is removed, take a small flathead screwdriver and insert it into the right slot to release the cover on that side. Then, insert it into the left slot and release it from that side as well to remove it. With the cover removed, locate the battery. Use the small flathead screwdriver to lift the battery out and insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one. Then, replace the cover and reattach the key blade. Finally, check the new battery to ensure it is functioning correctly.
