Where is the spare tire located on the BMW 3 Series?

On the BMW 3 Series, the spare tire is located inside the trunk. To find it, open the rear trunk lid and look for the tire at the top of the cargo area. You can remove it from its housing by loosening the carabiner at the base of the tire and removing the side hooks of the straps that hold it in place. Once these elements are removed, you can use the spare tire to replace one of the tires on the vehicle; after the replacement, place the old tire back in the spare tire housing.
