How do you open the fuel door of the BMW X5?

Model: BMW X5 G18, G05 - Years 2019-2026

On the BMW X5, in order to open the fuel door, you will need to press the appropriate button located inside the cabin, on the lower left side of the dashboard in relation to the steering column. The button will have the classic icon of a gasoline pump depicted on it. By pressing it, the fuel door will unlock and it will be possible to open it to remove the underlying cap and perform refueling. If the fuel door is locked, you can perform the emergency unlocking procedure: you will need to remove the side panel of the trunk, located near the fuel door, and pull the green cord underneath.
