Replacement of the diesel filter on a BMW X5

In this tutorial you will see how to replace the diesel filter on a first generation BMW X5, model E53. Let's start by lifting the vehicle and removing the protective panel as shown in the video, to do this we must unscrew, with a 12mm wrench, all the screws along its edge. Once the panel is removed, we loosen the filter mounting bars and remove the fuel hose clamps with a flathead screwdriver. At this point, we place a basin under the filter to collect the fuel and disconnect the incoming and outgoing diesel hoses, then proceed to remove the old filter and replace it with a new one following the reverse procedure.
