How to Replace the Shock Absorbers on a BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010

First, remove the wheel to access the rear part of the shock absorber. Then, lift your vehicle on appropriate jack stands for safer and more comfortable work. Next, remove all the lines connected to the fixed parts of the shock absorber. After that, unbolt the shock absorber from one side at the hub and from the other side at the upper body mount. Once you have removed the bolts from both sides, you can extract it from the lower part of the fender. Finally, reverse the steps to reassemble the various components.
