How to Remove the Door Panel Trim on BMW 5 Series F10

On the door panel of this BMW model, on the upper trim, just below the window frame, there is an insert, a trim piece, covered with a wood effect strip and below it, an aluminum inlay; this trim is secured to the panel with pressure clips: simply pry along the edges to disengage and remove it from its seat; it is recommended to use a plastic lever to avoid creating scratches, although in reality, you can also pull it with your fingertips under the strip to disengage it.

How to Replace the Wing Mirror

To remove and extract the external wing mirror, you will need to perform some preliminary steps, such as removing the panel that covers the inside of your vehicle at the same position as the mirror outside. If necessary, also remove the door panel. Then, remove the bolts securing the wing mirror and disconnect any plugs connected to the mirror to extract it. Finally, retrace the steps for reassembly.
