How to remove the ventilation grille of the BMW 1 Series E81/E87
Model: BMW Serie 1
E82, E81, E87, MK 1
- Years 2004-2013
In this video, we see how it is possible to easily remove the ventilation grille of the BM1 Series 1 version E81/E87: all we will need is a flathead screwdriver, which we will place in the center of the driver's side grille, levering it off easily since it is built in one piece. This also makes it very difficult to break. We will do the same on the passenger side, which is built the same way. As for the central grille, we will not place the screwdriver under the grille, but above, always in the center, and lever from the top. This is also built in one piece, but there are electrical connectors that need to be disconnected before removing the grille. For reassembly, simply snap the grilles back into place, remembering that the central one has an electrical connector that must be reconnected beforehand.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406
How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order. by ScegliAuto More videos
