How do you remove the steering wheel of a Citroen C3? Before disassembling the car steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment. Let's see how to proceed with the disassembly of the piece: remove the inspection caps on the rear part of the steering wheel (if present), then unscrew the tightening screws of the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is present) with a socket wrench or screwdriver . Once the airbag has been released (driver's side), we disconnect the power supply terminals and extract the same. With a socket wrench we unscrew the large central pin and remove the steering wheel from its seat. For reassembly: connect the power supply terminals, then, press the steering wheel with your hands (until it enters its seat) and then screw the large pin.
