How to Remove the Steering Wheel from the Citroen C3

To remove the steering wheel from the Citroen C3, first remove the airbag. Locate the two slots behind the steering wheel, corresponding to the two 'spokes' that secure it to the central shaft, which allow you to unlock the airbag from its position at the centre of the steering wheel using a screwdriver. Next, disconnect the electrical supply consisting of three wires, and you are done. Now removing the steering wheel is straightforward: using a suitable socket, unscrew the bolt that secures it to the hinge and you can slide it off its housing (taking care not to pull on the electrical wires).
