How to deactivate the Citroen C3 passenger airbag

The passenger airbag on a Citroen C3 vehicle must be deactivated when a child seat is installed on the passenger seat. On 2021 models, to perform this operation, we must board the vehicle and keep the instrument panel off. We open the passenger glove box and remove the small cover at the top to access the key for deactivating or activating the airbag. We insert the car key into the lock and move the lever mode to OFF. By following these steps, the airbag will be deactivated. To activate it, we must perform the same steps but move the lever to ON.
