Let’s see how to reset the service light on the Cadillac SRX: turn on the instrument panel and use the scroll wheel on the steering wheel to navigate through the menu. Scroll right until you find the "oil life" option.

When the screen shows the percentage of remaining oil, press and hold the button (the centre button on the wheel, or the "SEL" button) for 10 seconds, after which you should hear a beep. At this point, you can release the button.

Hold the button down again for 5 seconds; after this press, the percentage of remaining oil will return to 100%, and the service light will turn off.
