How to Replace the Battery in a Cadillac Key Fob?

This illustrated guide is applicable to remote key fobs for Cadillac vehicles produced between 2014 and 2021, particularly for models such as Escalade, CT6, XT6, and others similar to those listed in the video title. So, how do you replace this battery? Simply open the key fob by separating the two halves after removing the key blade. The blade can be extracted by gripping it and pulling it out while pressing the button on the side of the fob. The same blade can be used to pry apart the two halves of the casing to access and replace the battery.
