Operation: How to replace the steering wheel of the Chevrolet Express

To replace the Chevrolet City Express steering wheel, we disconnect the battery poles by unscrewing the nut with an 8mm socket wrench; disconnected the battery, insert a screwdriver until a long time, in the holes behind the steering wheel and with the help of our hands, remove the horn part of the steering wheel from the joints; extracted the part of the horn, disconnect the connector to remove it; now let's disconnect the other connectors (cruise control and blue connector), then with a 21mm socket wrench, unscrew the steering wheel nut, reinsert it by screwing it by hand so when we pull the steering wheel we don't risk it coming into our face, we pull the steering wheel until it reaches the nut, finally unscrew the nut and remove the steering wheel. Now we unscrew the torx screws to remove the steering wheel controls and put them back on the new one. To reassemble the steering wheel we perform the same operation as the assembly in reverse. Attention, when the steering wheel has to be disassembled and reassembled, the wheels and the steering wheel must be positioned straight.

At this point the reset is complete and you can turn off the ignition.
