This guide will show you how to replace the side mirror on a Chevrolet Equinox. Start by removing the plastic cover inside the door. To do this, unscrew the screws located behind two small plastic panels: one is behind the door release lever, and the other is below the panel with the door controls. Now you can pry out the piece. To completely detach it, you will need to remove all connected connectors. Next, remove the plastic panel corresponding to the mirror: pull it out, disconnect the connector, and unscrew the three screws needed for the operation. This will allow you to remove the mirror. Now, simply insert the new piece, secure it in place with the three screws you removed earlier, and reassemble the door by reinserting the plastic cover of the mirror, reconnecting all connectors, and reinstalling the inner plastic part of the door.
