As you can see in the video, the problem depends on a faulty sensor in the intake camshaft position. After collecting the new part, open the bonnet and remove the faulty sensor. You will need to disconnect the connector and unscrew a bolt after which you can extract the sensor. Check that the new one is the same size as the old one. Place the new one and proceed to tighten the bolt. Reconnect the electrical wires.

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved.
