Removing the External Mirror on a Chrysler 300

Is the external mirror broken? Here's how to remove it. Use a lever to detach the part of the internal trim panel (there are plastic clips) and unscrew the securing bolts with a socket spanner. Once the securing bolts are removed, take the mirror with the electrical wires for the glass adjustment out of the car door. For reassembly, remove the coloured cap from the old mirror and refit it onto the new one. Install the mirror with the bolts, adjustment wires, and plastic cover into the door panel. Finally, reattach the door panel.
