In this video we can see how to install the side steps on the Citroen C3 Aircross. It is a model with a particularly simple installation, but in Italy it is not possible to install them on your own: if they are side steps - therefore not protruding from the vehicle's shape - like a tow hook, it is necessary to travel with the technical drawings and the declaration of correct installation by a professional with an authorized signature.

If they are instead running boards, which protrude from the vehicle's shape, then the modification must be authorized by the civil motorization through a visit and test, with a note in the registration booklet.
