How to replace the key fob battery on Citroen Ds5? In this detailed video, see how to do it. Take your key fob and slide the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the plastic cap. Pry until the cap lifts off the cover, then extract the flat battery with a screwdriver, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cap onto the key fob until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key back into the fob. Check the key fob for proper operation.
