How to Replace the Alternator in a Citroen Berlingo

In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the alternator in a Citroen Berlingo, a simple operation but one that requires good manual skills. First, open the bonnet, then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Use a long 15mm spanner to grip the tensioner and loosen it to remove the old belt. Next, disconnect the power terminal of the alternator with a 13mm spanner, unscrew the first two securing bolts with a 16mm spanner, and proceed to remove the cover of the exhaust manifold. At this point, simply unscrew the remaining bolts, remove the alternator, position the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
