How to Remove the Alternator on a Citroen Berlingo

Learn how to remove the alternator from a Citroen Berlingo. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it in place. Locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Use a socket spanner to remove the bolts, being careful not to damage the wiring harness membranes. Unscrew all the fastening bolts of the alternator. Once removed, take the alternator out of the engine bay. Now take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing. Screw in the fastening bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery.
