How to Open and Close the Fuel Flap on a Citroen C3

Model: Citroen C3 SY, SX - Years 2016-2023

To access the fuel filler on the Citroen C3, park the car in a safe area and turn off the engine. Unlock the central locking: on this model, the flap may remain locked if the doors are closed. Reach the fuel flap on the rear right side and gently press on the edge to release it, then open it. Once the flap is open, unscrew the fuel cap by turning it counterclockwise and leave it hanging on the tether or resting in its housing, so it does not fall or get dirty. After refuelling, replace the cap on the filler and screw it on clockwise until fully tightened. Once completed, close the flap by pressing until it clicks and check that it is securely attached to the bodywork.
