The video presented here shows us the entire release and opening mechanism of the Citroen C3 engine hood. Regarding the aforementioned mechanism, one wonders how to activate it in case the cable connecting it to the handle housed in the cabin is broken.

Well, the solution, common to all cars, is there and can be applied without great effort and hours of work, in fact it is enough, after obtaining a screwdriver or a rather narrow stick, to insert said tools into the front grille, reach the aforementioned stop and act on it, releasing it, in order to allow the hood to be opened.
