Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Citroen C3. Begin by dislodging the trim around the gear lever, then disconnect the relevant connectors before removing the trim. Next, rotate the gear knob on the lever while pulling it upwards.

This will allow you to remove the knob and the trim, and detach the gaiter from the knob. Once this step is complete, you will have finished disassembling.

To install the new gear knob and trim, simply reverse these steps, and you will have completed the replacement.
