Replacing Gear Gaiter and Knob on Citroen and Peugeot Cars

Pull off the gear gaiter simply by hand, but if it’s too tight, use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry in the surrounding gaps. Lift it as much as you can, position the gear lever in neutral, and pull the knob and gaiter off together with force. If the gaiter separates from the base, fit it before securing it in the vehicle. Once done, fit the knob at the top of the gaiter and clip the hooks at the base into the designated area of the gear lever, ensuring that the gaiter wraps around the lever and that the knob fits onto it.

How to Reset the Central Locking of the Volkswagen Golf 4?
