Model: Citroen Citroen Various
Part: Shift knob

This video is currently unavailable

In this video, you can see how to change the gear knob on a Citroen/Peugeot car: start by lifting the trim that secures the gear gaiter, using a plastic spatula to avoid damaging the chrome parts. Pull off the leather gaiter (or faux leather), and cut the tie that holds the gaiter to the metal gear stick.

Lower the gaiter and remove the damaged gear knob. You will surely find a suitable knob online on one of the many e-commerce platforms.

Insert the new knob, place a new tie from inside the gaiter, pull it down, and replace the chrome trim. Job done.

Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
