How to Remove the Car Stereo and Install the Parrot Hands-Free Kit on a Citroen C3

In this video, you will learn how to remove the car stereo and install the Parrot MKI9200 hands-free kit on a Citroen C3. Obtain two double-ended extractors, easily available on the market, and insert them into the appropriate holes, pushing the extractors outward while simultaneously pulling them towards you to extract the stereo. Disconnect the connectors and remove the stereo. Open the Parrot package, take the bypass wiring, and proceed with the installation. Run the red power cable from the new connector to the fuse box, then open the glove compartment and remove the cover to access the fuses. Remove the carpeted trim panel located under the passenger side dashboard to pass the cable through. Disconnect the white connector from the original stereo connector and reposition it into the new connector; at this point, connect the other end of the wiring to the original connector. Release the cover of the centre tunnel, pass the monitor base cable, and secure the base with double-sided tape. Position the microphones in your chosen location and bring the cable terminal to where you will place the hands-free unit. Using a multimeter, identify a fuse that has power only when the ignition is on, then remove the fuse and install a fuse splitter in the fuse box; now connect the previously run power cable. Take the wiring for the unit, tidy the cables with insulating tape to save space, and connect it to the appropriate connectors on the bypass wiring you installed. Connect the unit, the stereo, mount the monitor on the base, insert the battery into the control panel, and test the system. Once done, you can position the control panel with double-sided tape in the most convenient location, reassemble everything, and enjoy your hands-free kit.
