The hard reset is the procedure used to restore the car radio to its factory settings. It is usually performed when you intend to sell your car radio (with or without the car) and to solve minor operating problems due to the radio's software. It is performed by completing the following steps: 1) press "settings" (the icon with gears that accesses the settings); 2) scroll to the left screen by pressing the arrow on the display; 3) press "system settings" which is the first button at the top; 4) select "factory settings" located at the bottom right; 5) click on "restore factory settings" and finally on "confirm".
