How to mount the roof bars on the Dacia Duster.

On the Dacia Duster, prepare the work plan and check that the bar kit is complete: feet/mounts for each side, bars, screws, wrench, and caps. Clean the contact points on the cross members/roof and position the foot seals without creases. Pre-assemble the mounts by inserting screws and brackets in the indicated direction and set the distance between the bars according to the notches/measurements of the kit, ensuring that the aerodynamic arrow is oriented forward. Place the front bar, centering it according to the roof references, and gradually tighten it on the right and left until it is secure; repeat with the rear bar while maintaining the same height. Align the bars by viewing them from the front of the car, then perform the final tightening to the torque specified by the kit manufacturer. Insert the caps and check that there is no play in the mounts by pulling gently. Finally, check for any load limitations indicated by the kit/vehicle and, after the first few kilometers, recheck the tightness.
