How the Roof Rails on a Dacia Jogger Become a Roof Rack

One of the great features of the Dacia Jogger is that the roof rails can be transformed into a roof rack. A kit is provided with the car, including a special Allen key designed specifically for this purpose. Open the flap located at the end of the bars; walk around the vehicle loosening the screw found inside this flap. Lift and move the bars into a horizontal position and orient them correctly, ensuring that the sloped edge is facing towards the front of the car to maintain aerodynamics. Re-tighten the bolts to secure them, and now the roof can support up to 80 kg. Visible holes remain on the sides; if you want to cover them, you need to search online for aftermarket covers, as Dacia does not provide them.

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel.
