How to remove the damaged gear knob on a Dacia Duster? Here’s how to remove it from above the operating shaft. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame, lifting it until it detaches from the knob. Hold the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear shaft (cut the plastic tie). For reassembly, take the new knob and slide it onto the shaft in the centre console, securing it to the shaft; install the new leather gaiter with the clips over the centre console (tighten the gaiter to the knob). Ensure all parts associated with the gear knob are correctly fitted.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
