How to change the gear lever knob on a Dacia Sandero

Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather shift knob cover. This cover covers the shift knob. Once the cover is removed, cut or loosen the metal clamp that holds the knob in place. Take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until it is removed from the shift lever. Install the new leather cover with the clips (if it was removed). Take the new knob and insert it into the shift lever on the center console. Tighten the new knob until it locks into the lever. Test the movement of the lever on the center console to ensure that the knob is correctly installed.
