How to Change the Gear Knob on Dacia Sandero

Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame. This frame covers the gear knob.

Once the frame is removed, cut or loosen the metal clip that holds the knob in place. Hold the knob and twist it left and right until it comes off the gear stick.

Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if it was removed). Take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console.

Tighten the new knob until it locks onto the stick. Test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
