Removing certain parts from the Daihatsu Cast is easy. For example, removing the rear lights is straightforward because they are connected to a single electrical connector and are press-fit. Removing the rear trim under the wiper is also simple. After placing some masking tape to mark the exact position, just pry it off with a plastic spatula. Taking off the front panel is practical and easy as well. Be sure to place a thick blanket in front to prevent damage if it falls, but there are only a few side screws that allow you to remove the side light assemblies and take off the front panel. Similarly, you can easily remove the interior door panels to perform any necessary work. Removing the cover over the internal display is also simple.
