In order to replace the Daihatsu Cast engine oil, you need to access the lower part of the car, so that you can access the components in the lower part of the vehicle. Here it will be possible to locate the oil tank drain plug, which must be opened to collect the used oil in a container. Once all the oil has come out, it will be possible to go and remove the oil filter which will be located next to it, replacing it too. Therefore by opening the bonnet it will be possible to access the engine compartment and top up with the new oil.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
