Position the bike on a central stand; remove the plastic filler cap and using a spanner, unscrew the bolt of the oil sump (drain the fluid into a disposal container). Unscrew the oil filter if you need to replace it (fit the new oil filter). Finally, top up with new fluid in the engine and close with the plastic cap. Test the correct functioning of the bike. Use oil recommended by the manufacturer.

How to Remove the Rear Wheel on the BMW G650 GS?

First, lift the motorcycle from the central area using a stand or a jack, then undo the right nut with a 24 mm socket and the left one with a 19 mm spanner. Once done, using a Torx T40 key, unscrew the two chain tensioner bolts exactly half a turn each, until you loosen the tension.
