To replace the starter motor on the Derbi Senda 125, unscrew the screws securing the cover located on the right side of the bike, under which the clutch is also found. Once the cover is removed, locate the starter motor at the top left relative to the clutch. By loosening the nuts that secure it in place, you can free it from its housing to insert a new replacement part. After the replacement, close the cover again and check that the starter motor is functioning.

First, lift the motorcycle from the central area using a stand or a jack, then undo the right nut with a 24 mm socket and the left one with a 19 mm spanner. Once done, using a Torx T40 key, unscrew the two chain tensioner bolts exactly half a turn each, until you loosen the tension. Finally, push the wheel towards the inside of the motorcycle, remove the chain from the sprocket, and extract the inner pin using a hammer.
