How to Remove the External Handle of a Dodge Journey

Replacing the damaged handle on a Dodge Journey, here’s how to install and remove it. Remove the closure cap from the hole on the door (as shown in the video). Insert a metal screwdriver into the slot on the door (side panel) and use a plastic lever to remove the lock of the handle located on the right side. Pull the lock out of the door, then remove the door cover panel. Release the handle from the inside of the door and pull the handle out from the panel. Insert the new handle with its lock into the door. Refit the cover panel.
