Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Dodge Durango MK 2, ND - Years 2004-2009
Part: Spark plugs

This V8 engine, with a capacity of 5,700 cubic centimetres and incredible performance (349 bhp), has a unique feature: it is equipped with two spark plugs for each cylinder. First, disconnect the connector from the ignition coil; each cylinder has a double lead connector. Remove the leads, then blow into the spark plug holes to remove any debris that may fall into the cylinder once the spark plugs are removed. Unscrew the old spark plugs and install the new ones without exceeding the tightening torque. It is recommended to clean the leads with contact spray before reapplying them.
