To replace the air filter in a Dodge Durango, first purchase a new air filter from an authorised dealer. Next, get in the vehicle, pull the bonnet release lever, and lift the bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Once you locate the filter box, loosen the clamp holding the intake hose to the filter box, then disconnect the intake hose; remove the retaining clips holding the cover of the filter box; next, lift the cover and extract the old filter element from its housing. Cover the air duct parts with a clean cloth to prevent dust from entering the system; clean the cover and housing; insert the new filter and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
