Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Dodge Journey MK 1 - Years 2008-2020

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just behind the glove compartment; open the glove compartment door, press the sides to retract the rubber stops that act as limit stops, and fully fold down the door; at this point, you can access the air duct, remove the cap from the filter housing, and take it out; eliminate any dirt residue present in the filter housing and fit the new one (it is advisable to choose one with activated carbon) ensuring the correct airflow direction; then replace the cap and reposition the glove compartment door.
