How to Replace the Air Filter on a Dodge Journey

Is the air filter on the Journey due for a change? Let's look at the disassembly of the components. Pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Unscrew the securing screws of the container cap and disconnect the drainage hose. Open the air kit: remove the cap from the filter box and take out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls. Refit the air box cap and tighten the screws. Reconnect the drainage hose to the container.
