How to Remove the Air Filter on a Dodge Journey

Follow these steps to remove the air filter on a Dodge Journey: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the bonnet, securing it with the prop. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the fastening pins located on the sides of the filter box, remove it, disconnect the engine air intake hose and the metal clamp pin. Extract the worn air filter and insert a new one, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the box. Finally, refit the air box and tighten the screws. Close the bonnet.
