Repairing the Automatic Gear Shift Lever

Model: Dodge Caliber MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Transmission

If you experience issues with gear selection in the automatic gearbox, one possible cause may be the failure of a plastic bush attached to the gear shift cables: to carry out this repair, you need to dismantle the front part of the centre console, just below the gear shift lever; start by unclipping the trim that is directly beneath the lever to access the screws securing the side trim panels; once the front cover of the tunnel is removed, you can access the cable housing and proceed with replacing the plastic bush.

How to Clean the Injectors on BMW 3 Series

Let's see how to clean the injectors on BMW 3 Series with the appropriate cleaning kit. Lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod, then disconnect the fuel supply hose that leads to the injectors. Connect the pressure gauge and the cleaning kit to the fuel lines; start running the cleaning fluid from the previously connected kit through the fuel lines of the injectors (repeat this process several times). Disconnect everything and start the engine. Reinstall the fuel line leading to the injectors after cleaning them of any dirt and deposits.
