How to replace the battery or the casing of a DR remote control.

Replacing the battery or the shell of a DR 1 remote key is a very simple operation. The first thing to do is to extract the metal key by using the dedicated button located on the rest of the key. Then, insert a flat-headed screwdriver into the central part of the remote and gently open it in two. Remove the central circuit to easily extract the battery. At this point, remove the old battery and insert the new one, a 2032 model with 3 volts. Once inserted, reassemble the battery onto the circuit and the circuit onto the remote shell, and close everything back up.
