Model: Ducati 1260s
Part: Engine oil
Service on Ducati 1260S

Turn the motorcycle on for a few minutes to warm up the engine and therefore the oil. This will make the lubricant less dense and help it flow out. Unscrew the lower bolt that acts as a plug to the drain hole of the engine oil compartment and collect the used lubricant in a tray (and dispose of it correctly). While the oil is dripping, unscrew the top cap, avoiding the vacuum and favoring the pouring once again. Unscrew the oil filter and remove it, if it is very dirty replace it with a new one, otherwise clean it. Close the drain hole and fill in new oil from the top hole.

How do you replace the air filter of the Kymco Xtown 300i?

In order to replace the air filter of the Kymco Xtown 300i, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cover of the filter box, located on the left side of the bike just above the transmission case. At this point, you can remove the cover and locate the filter inside; the old air filter can be removed by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place and inserting the new piece. Once the new filter is inserted, you can verify that everything is functioning correctly.
