Before starting the operation of changing the engine oil in the Ducati Monster 696, we place our bike in a stable and safe way, on its stand. This is to ensure the safety of the operator as should be done for every maintenance operation. Once this is done, we make sure the engine is lukewarm. Remove the oil port cap and, after placing a pan underneath, unscrew the bleed hole bolt and drain the old oil. We replace the oil filter and wash the pick-up filter. Now, after having repositioned the elements in their seat, plug the bleed hole with the bolt (closing force 20 N) and pour the new oil into the opening until reaching the right size, indicated in the appropriate indicator. .

How do you replace the clutch cable of the LML Star?

In order to replace the clutch cable of the LML Star you have to unscrew the screws that fix the front fairing of the bike, so that it can be removed: here it will be possible to find one of the ends of the cable, which will be connected to the relative lever. By unscrewing the bolt that connects the lever to the cable, it will be possible to detach the first end; the other end will be directly connected to the clutch. Once both ends have been disconnected, the cable can be pulled out and replaced with a new spare part.
